KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Three Truman seniors played their final matches on Monday afternoon at home in a sunny but chilly day. The Bulldog tennis teams dropped their season finale to Maryville University.
 
Paul Province and Brian LaValle took to the courts for their final collegiate matches. Province was defeated 6-1, 6-1 by Louis Glaves in the number one singles spot and dropped an 8-4 decision in doubles with partner Arpit Sahoo to Glaves and Juan Sequra.
 
LaValle played at number six singles and defeated Trey Barker by identical 6-3 sets. It was LaValle's second win this season and evened his conference singles record to 1-1.
 
Lindsey Schlichting lost to Sarah Etter 6-4, 6-1 in the ladies top singles match. She also was defeated 8-3 with doubles partner Maura Dunn by Lina Kunert and Rebekah Anderson.
