RECAP: Truman Tennis Drops Matches To UMSL

ELSAH, Ill. – Missouri-St. Louis won both the men's and women's dual on Sunday over the Truman Tennis teams.

The UMSL women won 7-2 with Truman's team points coming via walk over wins at number three doubles and number six singles.  The Triton women were ranked fourth in the
region and 33rd in Division II Tennis.

The Triton men shutout the Bulldog men by a score of 9-0. UMSL edged the Bulldogs in a pair of close doubles matches. Griffin Turnage and Nick Thiele fell 8-6 in number one and Paul Province and Alec Jarvis lost 8-5 in number two.

Truman will host Drury University on Friday.

The matches were moved to Elsah, Illinois due to weather in Kirksville.
