KIRKSVILLE, Mo.--The Truman women's tennis team had their first home matchup of the 2019 fall season as they hosted Missouri Valley College. It was a fantastic fall day but MVC emerged and defeated the Bulldogs 7-0. MVC took all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point and then took each singles match.

Despite the loss today, coach Steven Smith said that the team hit the ball fairly well and had good matches in singles. The team will hit the courts on Sunday at Truman Tennis Courts as they take on Quincy at 11 a.m.
