ST. JOSEPH, Mo.—The Truman Tennis team kicked off its season Friday as they took on the Newman Jets. The Jets took all seven points for the 7-0 win.

Singles:

First: Vlada Litvinova over Alex Rogers (6-1. 6-3)

Second: Emily Young over Morgan Eby (6-2, 6-3)

Third: Liza Gerasimova over Caprice Huitron (6-0, 6-1)

Fourth: Mariana Gaviria over Kennidy Shirey (6-1, 6-0)

Fifth: Isabela Campos Bifano over Julia Fangman (6-2, 6-1)

Sixth: Mirella D'Angelo Cavalcanti over Rachel Shelly (6-0, 6-1)

Doubles:

First: Litvinova/Gerasimova over Rogers/Eby (6-3)

Second: Young/Bifano over Huitron/Shirey (6-2)

Third: Cavalcanti/Lauren Estfeld over Fangman/Hannah Gross (6-0)

The Bulldogs will be back in action tomorrow as they take on Arkansas Tech and then Sunday they will take on the hosts, Missouri Western, on Sunday.
