ELSAH, Ill.—The Truman Women's Tennis team took on the Missouri Baptist Spartans Saturday and after going back and forth defeated the Spartans 6-3. Truman took an early lead winning first and third doubles. But wins in second doubles and third and fourth singles gave the Spartans the lead. In first and second singles, Alex Rogers and Morgan Eby came through with wins to give the Bulldogs a 5-3 lead and then Julia Fangman got the fifth and decisive point with a victory in fifth singles. Rachel Shelly capped the meet by winning sixth singles. In the second match of the day against Kasaskia, Truman took all nine points.
