KIRKSVILLE, Mo.—The Truman Tennis team suffered its first loss of the fall season as they fell to Missouri Western 7-0. First doubles was the most competitive matchup as Allie Brown and Akansha Negi nearly had a breakpoint but UMSL took it to win 6-4.

Truman will be back in action Sunday as they host Quincy and Coe in the Truman Invitational, which will be split between Truman Tennis Courts and Kirksville High School. Action will begin at 8:30 AM.
