CRETE, Neb.--The Truman Tennis team was back in action Saturday at Doane College for two duals, first against St. Mary's College and then against the hosts, Doane. The Bulldogs downed St. Mary's 5-2 as St. Mary's took the doubles point but Truman took five of the singles points to win. Fourth and sixth singles had tiebreakers that went the way of the Bulldogs to give Truman the win.

First singles: Renne Acena over Alex Rogers 7-5, 6-2

Second singles: Morgan Eby over Tessa Hurst, 7-5, 6-1

Third singles: Samanatha Seggerman over Regi Zakrzewski, 6-3, 6-3

Fourth singles: Caprice Huitron over Kaia Chiasson, 3-6, 6-2, 10-1

Fifth singles: Julia Fangman over Jaclyn Negrete, 6-0, 6-1

Sixth singles: Rachel Shelly over Leah Dennell, 3-6, 6-0, 10-5

First doubles: Hurst/Zakrzewski over Rogers/Seggerman 7-5

Second doubles: Eby/Fangman over Acena/Negrete 6-2

Third doubles: Dennell/Chiasson over Shelly/Angelina Partenheimer 6-2

In the second dual of the day, Doane got the better of the Bulldogs 5-2. Doane got the doubles point while Fangman and Seggerman picked up points in singles.

First singles: Amber Weston over Rogers, 6-0, 6-2

Second singles: Ava Macke over Eby, 6-3, 6-3

Third singles: Seggerman over Brylee Lauby, 2-6, 6-4, 10-6

Fourth singles: Liz van der Torre over Huitron, 7-6 (8-6 tiebreaker), 6-2

Fifth singles: Fangman over Huong Ngo, 6-1, 6-0

Sixth singles: Makayla Rice over Shelly, 7-6 (9-7 tiebreaker), 6-1

First doubles: Weston/Lauby over Rogers/Seggerman 6-3

Second doubles: Macke/van der Torre over Eby/Fangman 7-5

Third doubles: Ngo/Payton Stalder over Shelly/Angelina Partermeier 6-2

The Bulldogs will be back in action on April 3 at Quincy.
