QUINCY, Ill.--The Truman Tennis team was back in action on Friday in their first action March 20, playing a dual at Quincy and falling 6-1. Julia Fangman picked up a point in singles play, and Samantha Seggerman had a strong performance in second singles before falling in the third set.

First singles: Laila Leist-Alston over Morgan Eby 6-2, 6-1

Second singles: Makaela Hampton over Seggerman 5-7, 6-2, 6-3

Third singles: Steffi Lao over Captice Huitron 6-0, 6-0

Fourth singles: Fangman over Noni Updike 6-4, 6-1

Fifth singles: Nicole Lao over Rachel Shelly 6-0, 6-2

Sixth singles: Annie McGinnis over Angelina Partenheimer 6-2, 6-2

First doubles: Leist-Alston/Nicole Lao over Eby/Fangman 6-3

Second doubles: Hampton/Steffi Lao over Huitron/Seggerman 6-2

Third doubles: McGinnis/Updike over Shelly/Partenheimer 6-2

Truman will be back in action next Friday at Missouri-St. Louis.
