KIRKSVILLE, Mo.—The Truman Tennis team hit the court for the first time in the 2021 campaign Wednesday, taking on Central College (Iowa). Truman won the dual 9-0, their first 9-0 win since March 7, 2020 against Kasaskia College.
True freshmen played in first and second singles for the Bulldogs, as
Allie Brown went in first singles and
Akansha Negi went in second.
Samantha Seggerman went third, followed by
Julia Fangman and
Kennidy Shirey. A third true freshman,
Abbi Worster, went in sixth singles.
