SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—The Truman Tennis team won its first action of 2022 with a 4-3 victory at Evangel Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs went down 1-0 after losing two of three doubles matchups but rallied with four wins in singles to take the match. Sixth singles was the last to go, with the match tied at three. Abbi Worster fell behind 4-6 but rallied to win 6-4 and force a super tiebreaker that was 5-5 before Worster won 10-6. Samantha Seggerman won in third singles, Julia Fangman in fourth singles, and Kennidy Shirey in fifth singles. Akansha Negi had a notable performance in second singles after forcing a tiebreaker after losing the opening set 6-0.
