DES MOINES, Iowa—The Truman Tennis team fell short Sunday afternoon as they dropped a 4-3 decision against Grand View University. Ultimately it was the doubles point that made the difference as the teams split the six singles points. The Bulldogs got the first doubles match with third doubles but the first and second doubles matches were nail biters that went the way of Grand View. Akansha Negi had a standout singles performance as she closed her singles match with a 6-1 second set after a tight first set. Sam Seggerman also fended off two match points in third singles before falling in a tiebreaker.
