PELLA, Iowa—The Truman Tennis team took on Central College (Iowa) Thursday afternoon, winning 8-1. The Bulldogs picked up all six singles points and two of the three doubles points. It was a competitive meet according to Coach Steve Smith, with three points going to the Bulldogs on tiebreakers.

Third singles: Sam Seggerman (TSU) over Katie Larson 6-4, 6-1
Fourth singles: Julia Fangman (TSU) over Alex Griggs 6-0, 6-4
Fifth singles: Kennidy Shirey (TSU) over Allie Krieder 6-2, 3-6, 10-5 tiebreaker
Sixth singles: Abbi Worster (TSU) over Jenna Hernandez 2-6, 6-4, 10-3 tiebreaker

First doubles: Brown/Negi (TSU) over Lawton/Hartley 8-4
Second doubles: Seggerman/Fangman (TSU) over Katie Larson/Jennifer Larson 8-7, 9-7 tiebreaker

The Bulldogs will be back in action next weekend as they take on Loras University in Dubuque, Iowa on Friday and then on Saturday compete against Coe College and Cornell College.
