OTTAWA, Kan. – The Truman State Women's Tennis team concluded their fall portion of playing in the Ottawa (Kan.) University Fall Friendly tournament on Friday. Sydney Dial finished runner-up with a 2-1 record.
 
Dial defeated opponents by scores of 8-6 and 8-2 while falling 8-2 for her only loss of the day.
 
Nayana Malangi and Findley Laforge both posted 1-1 records with Malangi defeating teammate Alayna Dostal 8-0 and falling 8-6 in her other match. Laforge won 8-2 over her competitor from Ottawa but lost 8-2 against her adversary from Seward College.
 
The tournament featured Ottawa and Seward with each team bringing four singles players for a round-robin style event.
 
The Bulldogs went 5-3 in the fall season and will pick back up in February.
