OMAHA, Neb. - The Truman Tennis team completed the weekend with a 5-2 win over the College of Saint Mary (Neb.) on Saturday.
The Bulldogs rolled through doubles to gain the first team point with the number three team of Finley Laforge and Mary Grace Seymore getting the first win at number three with a 6-0 win. Akansha Negi and Abbi Worster clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win at number two and Sydney Dial/Nayana Malangl battled back from a 3-0 deficit to win 7-6 (7-5)Â at number one.Â
Dial and Amelia Willing won their singles matches while the Bulldogs lost at number two and five to make the team score 3-2 Truman.
Negi got the team win with a 6-2, 4-6, 10-3 win at number three while Abbi Worster rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, 10-2 win at number four.
The Bulldogs will play their next four duals at home starting on Wednesday against Central (Iowa).Â
