Ten Bulldogs Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors for Soccer Programs

Kirksville, Mo. — Truman State University placed ten student-athletes on the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, recognizing standout academic achievement paired with significant on-field contribution. To qualify, nominees must be at least a sophomore academically, carry a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and participate in at least 90 percent of matches or start in two-thirds of their team's contests.

The Bulldogs' honorees include four men's players and six women's players, each of whom played key roles throughout the 2025 season.

Men's Academic All-District Selections

Owen Robben – Goalkeeper

Robben anchored the Bulldogs defensively, starting 15 matches and logging more than 1,290 minutes in goal. He recorded 62 saves on the year and produced a shutout in Truman's GLVC road win at Quincy. His consistency, command of the box, and durability made him one of the most relied-upon players on the roster.

Braden Hannan – Defender

Hannan started all 16 matches and provided stability to a defensive unit that faced one of the conference's toughest schedules. His positioning, tackling reliability, and ability to absorb pressure were central to the team's structure throughout the year.

Oliver Doyle – Forward

Doyle appeared in all 16 contests and brought pace and pressure to the attacking third. He scored two goals on the season, including key finishes in tightly contested matches, and consistently stretched opposing defenses with his movement and energy.

Jacob Panagos – Midfielder

Panagos delivered Truman's most productive offensive season from the midfield, starting 15 matches and finishing with seven goals and 16 points. His ability to control possession, generate attacking buildup, and convert chances made him one of the most impactful midfielders in the GLVC.

Women's Academic All-District Selections

Avery Bohnenstiehl – Defender

Bohnenstiehl started all 16 matches and played a major role in Truman's defensive identity. She contributed both in possession and in defensive coverage, adding a goal and an assist while helping the Bulldogs finish the season with two shutouts and one of the GLVC's stronger shot-suppression rates.

Greta Hanson – Defender

Hanson started all 16 contests and remained one of the Bulldogs' most steady presences on the back line. She scored once and consistently limited opposing attacks with her positioning and one-on-one defending. Her reliability was critical as she led the team in minutes played among field players.

Samantha Larkins – Defender

Larkins appeared in all 16 matches and provided steady play across the back line. She contributed to Truman's defensive structure with strong positioning and coverage, helping limit quality chances throughout GLVC play.

Quinn Nauman – Forward

Nauman started 15 of 16 matches and led the Bulldogs in goals (5), assists (4), points (14), and shot attempts (43). As Truman's most consistent attacking threat, she created chances in every phase of the season and served as the focal point of the Bulldogs' offense.

Abby Hutteger – Midfielder/Defender

Hutteger appeared in 15 matches and added an assist while playing significant minutes across multiple positions. Her versatility, work rate, and defensive effort made her an important matchup piece throughout conference play.

Siman Loethen – Goalkeeper

Loethen played the majority of the team's minutes in goal, finishing the season with 47 saves, two shutouts, and a 1.60 goals-against average. Her presence in the net and ability to make key stops kept Truman competitive across the GLVC schedule.

The CSC Academic All-District awards highlight student-athletes who excel both in the classroom and on the field. Truman's ten selections underscore the academic commitment and competitive excellence of both Bulldog soccer programs.
