Brian Campbell (Encino, Calif.), a tennis player for the University from 1981-83. As a junior, Campbell had a 24-4 record at No. 2 singles. The 1982 'Dogs compiled a 16-4 dual meet record and finished in a tie for 14th at the NCAA Division II Championships. As a senior, Campbell was nationally ranked seventh in doubles and 19th in singles. His No. 1 doubles team ended the season with a 24-2 record. Campbell also earned all-America honors twice, only the fourth Bulldog tennis player to receive the honor. Recently, he was ranked second nationally for 30 and over players in USTA men's doubles and won five national doubles titles from 1991-98. Campbell has spent the past 14 years in commercial insurance and brokerage and currently works for Marcus and Millichap in Encino, Calif.
