William Seman was an all-conference defensive tackle on Truman football teams in the mid-1960s. Seman was drafted by the New York Giants of the NFL. He decided to play in the Canadian Football League, but a knee injury ended a brief career in the CFL. At the time of his induction, he was the manager of facility planning and development for the state of Illinois.
