Linley J. Lipper captured all-America track honors by finishing fifth in the 1974 NCAA Division II outdoor meet. He won the MIAA indoor and outdoor mile and the MIAA indoor two mile. Lipper ran on three conference track championship teams. As a cross-country runner, he was the MIAA champion in 1972. Lipper received the R.E. Valentine award in 1974. He coached high school cross country for four years and is employed by the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department.
