Carl Noble was reared in Kirksville and attended the university between 1932-36, lettering four years in football and basketball and three years in baseball. He was named as a tackle to the 1934 and 1935 All-Conference Football Team and to the 1934 and 1935 All-State Team. He was also an All-American in 1935 and was the recipient of the Stickler Cup for the 1935-36 academic year. After graduation, Karl taught mathematics at Kirksville High School and University of Iowa and was a member of the Mathematics Department and the Football Staff here at the university. Later he was a market research manager for Kimberly-Clark serving as the European marketing head for the corporation, Director of the Institute of International Business Management Studies at Michigan State University, Vice-President of the international division of Chesebrough Ponds, professor of the School of Business Administration at Georgia State University and a business consultant in Mission Viejo, Calif.
