Carlos W. Norton received the Division II and ITCA all-America tennis awards for singles and doubles at the 1983 Division II tournament. He was nationally ranked in NCAA Division II tennis, 14th in 1983 and 18th in 1984. He ended his career with an overall singles record of 85-36 and a 90-18 overall doubles record. In 1984, Norton won the conference singles title and received the MIAA Sportsmanship award. He won the doubles title three times. As the Bulldogs' coach in 1985, Norton was named MIAA Coach of the Year. Norton is a timeshare sales representative in Mexico.
